The interview process was basically non-existent. I met all the criteria they were looking for and had done the same job at a previous company for years, but I just got the standard automated rejection email. I applied again with a cover letter explaining my qualifications. I got the same canned response. It makes you wonder if laws should be put in place requiring employers to state why candidates are rejected, in addition to providing real salary ranges, considering all the time we put into applications just to get these generic rejections.

So I don't often review things, but this interview process was something else. It was for an individual contributor role, and from the first call with the recruiter to the last interview, there were a total of seven steps. That's a lot more than I expected for this kind of job, especially since the final step involved meeting four different people on separate calls. After all that, I just got an email saying they weren't moving forward with me. The rejection came about a week and a half after the final interview, and honestly, after putting in so much time, you'd think they'd at least give some feedback. It felt pretty disrespectful. The people I spoke with during the interviews were great, though, and it's a shame because it seems like a good company with good people.

After I sent in my application, a recruiter got in touch and set up a call for an initial screening interview. I went through the interview, and a few days later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job. I emailed the interviewer back asking for feedback, but they didn't respond. I know I didn't get the job, but feedback would've been useful for me to think about how I did.
