I applied online and heard back from HR quickly. They emailed me and set up a phone interview for the next day. I passed that initial interview. Then, I downloaded their software and tools to get familiar with them. Next, I had a second phone interview with a team member. We talked a lot about what they needed, my background, and I asked about the job details. The third interview was with a Senior Manager. This one didn't go well because I didn't have the Agile Development experience he was looking for, and I was nervous because he wasn't very friendly. He wasn't impressed, and the next day HR emailed saying they weren't moving forward with my application. I was disappointed because it seemed like a good fit.

I had a total of 6 interviews with IRise, including phone, Skype and face-to-face interviews. I found out about the position through their website. The internal recruiter seemed eager to fill the position. However, after interviewing with their sales team leader, I learned they were restructuring their sales team and were unsure about the position's location. We continued with more interviews. I felt I interviewed strongly, but they decided not to move forward without a clear explanation. My guess is they still don't know what they want. It was a frustrating and deflating experience, especially since it seemed like a great opportunity.

The interview process started with a phone screen with the PS operations manager. After that, I met with managing directors, directors, and the EVP of PS. The people seemed smart, but I'm not sure about growth opportunities there. Their product feels a bit dated, and the SAP partnership doesn't seem to be as profitable as they expected. They've posted a lot of jobs but haven't hired for them, and for some reason, they're stuck and can't seem to advance as a company. Who knows, maybe they can fix it.

The recruiter called and then I came in for a day of interviews. There were 4 interviews that day, but the fifth one had to be rescheduled. I came back the next week to do the rescheduled interview.
