Leadership Development Program
It was a three-step interview process. First, a really quick phone call to check if you're still interested. If you are, they send you info about the real interviews. The next interview is about 20-30 minutes, so have your elevator pitch ready. I'd actually interviewed with them before, so I knew what to expect. They really want you to be honest and humble, not braggy about your achievements. You'll fill out a one-page application when you arrive. The waiting area isn't huge, so be nice to the front desk person – first impressions matter! Then, you'll meet with your interviewer, possibly the CEO, across a desk. Make it a conversation, ask tons of questions, and don't be awkward. I didn't even know what the job was until this second interview. You can learn a lot about the company and their goals by just talking. Have questions prepared! AND BRING A COPY OF YOUR RESUME. The final interview is about an hour, so try not to schedule it over lunch. Bring another resume copy. It's less busy then, more like a normal office. You'll meet someone else in an office and they'll ask you to talk about yourself, your story, and why you're job hunting. Keep it conversational and be open to learning, like a student. This approach is viewed really positively. By the end of the hour, you'll know everything about the job and company. Important note: if you're not into sales or passionate about it, don't apply. I got an offer but declined because sales isn't my thing. If you want to make good money and work hard, this is a great chance. The people are super talented and the company philosophy is fantastic.

Sales
I got a call one afternoon from HR about a virtual interview, even though I didn't remember applying. It turns out it was for door-to-door AT&T sales, which I wouldn't have gone for. After the online part, I had an in-person interview in Charleston, SC, where they laid out their pyramid scheme. They really pushed the job with promises and social events like going to bars every Tuesday and Thursday. I got offered the job the next day but turned it down, wishing I'd known what I was getting into beforehand.
- Can you tell me more about yourselves?
Junior Executive
Started with an initial online interview with basic questions. Then got called in for an in-person interview that lasted an hour. Most of the time was spent hyping up the job and how easy it is to advance. Towards the end, they revealed the actual job: door-to-door sales for AT&T services, which is very hard because it's commission-based and people usually know what they want. The team was nice, but they should change the job title and description to avoid wasting people's time.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
Customer Service Representative
I had a quick chat with HR first and then was invited for an in-person interview the following week. Both chats were pretty relaxed. When I went for the in-person meeting, there were other people waiting, and loud, explicit music was playing from an office – which wasn't very professional. The interviewer for the Customer Service Representative job actually only talked about a sales role, not the one I applied for. They did ask me for a second interview, but I turned it down.
- Tell me about your three strongest attributes.
- Is there an area where you feel you could improve?
