I had an interview with a recruiter. First, there was a phone call with the Director of the company. They asked mostly behavioral questions and about testing concepts. Then, I was called to the Cambridge office for a face-to-face interview with three people: the Test & Support Manager, the Software Product Architect, and the Chief Marketing Officer. They asked both behavioral and technical questions.

Had a phone screen with the hiring manager and HR. They asked me some technical questions and then we chatted about the job. The in-person part started with an overview of the role, then I met with the founders for some technical discussions, got a tour and learned about their tech, and wrapped up with HR. It was a pretty chill and friendly vibe. I liked that they were upfront about past company issues and their plans to improve.

Behavioral Technical

The first interview seemed pretty typical. The second one happened a week later. It was weird because one of the interviewers kept leaving the room during the interview. It felt rude that they couldn't focus for the whole hour. The worst part was waiting weeks for a decision. It was really slow. They didn't make a good impression.
