First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IQ Solutions.
Information Specialist
They initially gave me a call to ask a few questions over the phone, and then we scheduled an interview for the following week. It was a pretty straightforward interview. I met with two managers in a shared office space. They took turns asking me questions. The interview lasted about thirty to forty-five minutes.
- What drives your motivation?
- What are your thoughts and convictions regarding the subject matter?
- Can you share an example of a conflict resolution situation you encountered?
Materials Development Manager
I applied online and a week later, even though the ad was updated with stricter education requirements I didn't meet, I was contacted for an interview. The first interview was in person with the Senior VP and the Director joining via phone. It involved general questions about my experience and a description of the work. I was then asked to come back for a test and to meet the Director. On the day of the second interview, the Director cancelled last minute via email, but suggested I still come in to meet the Creative Director and do the test. I was told she would reach out later that week for another meeting, but never heard from her. After two positive interviews, I was informed they were impressed but chose a more experienced candidate. It was frustrating because it seemed like they knew from the start I lacked the required experience. HR interaction was minimal, with no initial screening or benefits overview; I had to request a brochure. Interestingly, all initial contact happened outside of normal business hours.
- Could you provide a hard copy of your resume?
Sharepoint Developer
The interview was pretty straightforward. They mainly asked about my SharePoint experience. There were two interviewers, and it was mostly about application-based questions. No presentations or tests were involved, just questions about SharePoint and my personality.
- Which programming languages are you fluent in?
Public Health Analyst
The interviewer was friendly and professional. She started with some general questions to help me relax. Because the role is project-based, she asked several questions directly related to the job duties. There was also a simulation of the job tasks.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
