Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IPSY.
Senior Manager
It was a pretty standard process, no curveballs. They were really focused on my past experience, specifically asking about my work with creator partnerships campaigns. They also wanted to know about the software I've used and details about past campaigns I've managed.
- What's your motivation for leaving your present job?
Manager
The hiring process kicked off with a welcoming phone chat and some email exchanges. I felt at ease, and the recruiter was great, happy to answer my questions. In the end, it wasn't the right fit for me, but it was a good experience overall.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with our company?
Office Manager
I applied back in May when the job first came out, but they told me the position was on hold. It reopened in June so I applied again and got a phone screen. After that, they sent me an exercise to complete for the Office Manager role. I submitted it a day later, and then they told me they weren't moving forward with my application. I was pretty bummed because I thought I did great and I wish I knew what went wrong.
- Have you written any policies?
- Have you managed a budget before?
- Do you handle ordering supplies?
