The interview process was super smooth and organized, with about 3-4 rounds with different managers. But then, after the interviews, things got really unprofessional. I did great and showed I was really into the company and the job, but they kept making promises they didn't keep. My offer got pulled back not just once, but twice! The second time was just two days before I was supposed to move. I get that companies have to look out for themselves when hiring, but they could've been way more upfront and professional about the whole thing.

The interview process included an initial HR call which was brief and positive. This was followed by a panel interview with a VP, a PM, and a Tech Lead. The VP started the interview, and the PM joined about 15 minutes in. The VP's demeanor was curt and abrupt, with no initial pleasantries, and she seemed very accomplished but uninterested in my career path or what I had to say. I noticed a lack of visible minority employees from black backgrounds. The VP's body language and engagement suggested the interview was not going well. The VP left for about 20 minutes, during which I spoke with the PM. When the VP returned, she abruptly asked why I was still there. While the interview itself wasn't technically difficult, the VP's autonomous and unwelcoming conduct makes me hesitant to recommend working there. For context, two peers from the same graduating class interviewed with the same group. One, who is of South Indian descent, had a similar experience to mine. Another, of Asian descent, was spoken at more and was given a chance. Make of that what you will.

The interview seemed like it went extremely well. I did my research; first I got a call from the recruiter, and then the main hiring manager, crazy part is they did not tell me anything for up to a month even though I sent an email 3 times, i turned down a potential offer just because I had my hopes on them and it just seemed really good. They are all terrible human beings. I also know better too but for context only 33 people applied for the role so it just did not make any sense
