Software Engineer
There were quite a few rounds, but it was a good experience. I got through all of them and they said I was a good cultural fit. In the end, they decided not to move forward with me because they thought I'd need training early on, even though the job was entry-level and training was part of the plan for the first few months.
- What makes you a better candidate than others?
Senior Software Engineer
It started with a quick 5-minute intro call with a recruiter who gathered some information. Then, an invite came through to speak with some people. Honestly, these individuals were the most arrogant and rude I've ever encountered. I'm not even sure what they were looking for. It felt like they were doing me a favor by even talking to me. I probably should have just hung up sooner.

Software Engineer
The interview process started with a review of my resume, followed by questions related to my experience, some basic technical questions, and then some behavioral ones. The interview itself felt pretty easy, but even with a good performance, there's no guarantee of an offer. They interview a lot of people for a few positions, which is unfortunate.
- Can you explain the scenarios where Java would be a better choice than Python, and provide the reasons why?
- Conversely, could you detail the situations where Python would be preferred over Java, and explain the reasoning behind it?
