Behavioral Technical Coding

We had an initial chat with a senior engineer and the CTO where we talked about college background and what makes me a strong engineer. They also asked if I was more interested in front end (Javascript) or backend (C++) on their team. After that, I got a take-home assignment to test my technical skills, which took a good chunk of time. They only take one intern each year for either team.

So first I had an interview where I talked with some of the engineering leadership, and we chatted about my experience and also their company/product. Then, there was a take-home software skills test, in a language I know (C++, Java, or Javascript). Lastly, we had a follow-up call to talk more and wrap things up.
