First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ipca Laboratories.
Junior Officer
It was a one on one technical round and another hr round. They asked me about reactor types, the definition of distillation, and filtration. The HR person talked about salary and gave a brief overview of the organization. Since I was a fresher, they gave me the joining date after 10-15 days.
- Can you list the different types of reactors?
- Could you define distillation?
- What is the definition of filtration?
QA Trainee
The interview process included questions on basic pharmacy knowledge, computer skills, and various guidelines. They asked about current good manufacturing practices, IPCA products, most important products, current location, manufacturing skills, and guidelines like ICH, WHO, and EU. They also inquired about the hardness tester, in-process checks, and line clearance.
- Can you explain what ICH Guidelines are?
- What are the different types of tablets?
Assistant Manager
I applied through the company's website. About two months later, I had a quick phone chat about my background and if I fit the job. Then, I did a technical interview to check my skills and how I solve problems. After that, an HR interview happened where we talked about company life, benefits, and my career plans. I got the offer and then did a one-day onboarding to learn about the company stuff and get some initial training. Finally, there was more training specific to my department to get me ready. The whole thing took about two months, which shows they're pretty serious about hiring and getting new people started. Everything was clear, and the onboarding/training made it easy to get going with my job.
- Why do you want to join our company?
QA Officer
Applied online and was contacted by an agency recruiter within two weeks. The interview process took about a week, and I received a response two days after the interview. Overall, it was a fast and efficient process, and they were receptive to my suggestions.
- Could you start by introducing yourself?
- What's the reason you're leaving your previous job?
- Can you explain your previous experiences that align with this current role?
