First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IPC.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
My first two interviews with IPC went well. The recruiter was great, and my chat with the global Talent Acquisition lead was friendly and professional. The third in-person interview with another HR person also seemed good, and they even gave me a tour and introduced me to the team. But after all the effort and prep, I heard nothing back. No feedback, no rejection email, nothing. For a global company, this basic lack of communication with candidates is unacceptable and makes IPC look bad. They really need to fix their interview process and communicate professionally.
- Can you tell me about your experience so far?
Procurement Specialist
It was a standard interview, following the usual structure: starting with a brief introduction, then I was asked about my experience and skills, and finally, I had the opportunity to ask my questions. Everything was friendly and straightforward, as expected in a typical interview process.
- Can you elaborate on your professional background in procurement?
Senior Management
The hiring process took longer than expected. The HR didn't keep me updated, leaving me hanging without knowing if I was shortlisted or rejected. This poor communication really made the company look bad.
- Could you elaborate on your past experiences?
- What accomplishments are you most proud of?
- Please provide some details about your professional background.
NOC Analyst
I saw the job opening from a recruitment agency, applied, and got selected for interviews. The whole process was online and had 3 stages, lasting about 3 months. The first stage was with the department managers who were friendly and asked about my past experience and how I'd handle real-life job situations. They liked my profile, so I moved to the second stage. The second stage was with the VPs. They were nice but tougher, asking some repeat questions from the first round but wanting more specific details about technologies used and challenge-solving approaches. They also assessed how I'd integrate into the department and my management style preference. This stage was challenging, focusing on my thinking and job performance. After passing, the third stage was with HR to discuss the job arrangement and package. Finally, after the HR interview, there was a background screening before the offer was confirmed.
- Can you describe a major incident from your past experience and explain how you resolved it?
- What's your preferred management style: minimal supervision or continuous oversight?
- How would you go about establishing yourself within the department as a new employee?
