First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at iPass.
Graduate Engineer Trainee
There would be three rounds. Two tech rounds and one hour round. No waiting time. The interviewers were humble and gave enough time to answer. They explained the job requirements during the hiring process and mentioned a smooth onboarding process post selection.
- Tell me about Linkedlist.
- Can you do some coding?
- What about prime numbers?
Software Engineer
It was a really long and messy interview process. Started with a written test, then two technical rounds. The technical interviews were a bit harder than usual, focusing heavily on in-depth Object-Oriented Programming concepts. Interestingly, two different teams conducted the interviews; one team asked really tough questions while the other's were quite easy, so luck played a big part!
- The written test questions were very simple.
QA Contractor
So first there was a QA & aptitude test that had 25 questions and 30 mins to complete. Then there were two technical rounds, the first one tested my knowledge on the testing process and logical thinking, and also involved SQL and writing test cases. The second technical round seemed to be more of a manager round, followed by an HR round. Each of these stages took about 2-3 days to complete.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Regional Manager
I talked with a few of the big bosses. Most of the chats were over the phone. It was pretty chill and everyone was in a good mood. They seemed more interested in getting to know me as a person than just my skills.
- Tell me about your background and experience.
- Can you share your strengths and areas for development?
- Describe a situation where you encountered a problem and how you resolved it.
