Presales Engineer
The interview process was quite long, involving several technical interviews and calls. There wasn't a clear explanation about the job's scope, requirements, travel expectations, or responsibilities, which makes it difficult to accept a new role if you're currently employed.
- Questions about MPLS
- Questions about 4G or 5G
Embedded Software Engineer
They asked about C language and Linux OS. The C language part tested our logical skills, and the OS part had process-related questions. As a fresher, it was an average interview that we could easily attempt if we prepared well in Linux, OS, and C language.
- Could you explain what a critical section in OS is?
Test Engineer
Had 2 technical rounds. The first round was about Manual L2/L3 protocols like Vlan, BGP, IPV4 and lasted for 45mins. I waited for 3-4 days for feedback and then got invited to the second round. They asked about testing methodologies like writing testcases, test strategy, test plan and also about the projects I worked on.
- Can you explain Layer2 frames?
- What about L3 and BGP?
- How would you define a test strategy?
Software Engineer
First there was a technical and aptitude written test, then a personal interview. The questions from the general programming part were all easy. The aptitude questions were very, very easy, but there was a time limit, about 1.5 minutes per question. With normal practice, you can pass this round easily. The personal interview was also easy, with questions about linked lists and networking. Since I'm from ECE, I did well in networking but not so well in the linked list part.
- What are some easy questions about linked lists?
- Could you give me some general programming questions?
- What kind of aptitude questions were asked?
