The interview process itself wasn't the problem; it was the lack of follow-up. The company representative missed our initial phone interview and only got back to me hours later, after I initiated contact. Then, they were about 10 minutes late for our in-person interview. I was initially told I'd have an answer by Friday, but Friday passed without any word. After I followed up again, I heard back the next day that they needed an extra day. It wasn't until Wednesday that they informed me they decided to pursue other candidates. At that point, I was almost relieved, given how poorly they handled the follow-up.
