Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process started with a behavioral interview with a hiring manager, followed by an interview with a business analyst where we discussed behavioral topics and some technical details. Another analyst then interviewed me, again focusing on behavior and some technical aspects. The Superday involved three interviews and a case study. I received an offer call from someone in India. For about a month, I received weekly emails stating the offer was pending group CEO approval and they appreciated my patience. Then, the emails stopped, and I haven't heard anything since. It's probably for the best, as I didn't learn enough about the company, the program, or my potential role. The whole program seemed a bit sketchy, and I couldn't get clear answers about my responsibilities. I tried contacting someone in the New York office about the offer, but realized I never spoke with anyone from the office where I would be working. Even if the offer had materialized, I likely would have declined it, which says a lot about the company given I don't have other offers yet.

Behavioral Technical Case

DO NOT APPLY for this company. The recruitment process was a misery. It started with an initial interview, then a Superday a month later. The first interview was great with nice interviewers, asking strengths/competency questions and discussing my motivation/experience. Then I was invited for Superday which had 3 one-on-one interviews and a case study. The interviewers were nice, from USA and UK. It seemed like a good place to start a career. It was professional at the beginning. But after Superday, I got a call saying I was successful but the offer needed CEO approval. They said the offer would come in 2 weeks, then delayed it for 3 months. In June, they rescinded the offer. My naive belief was shattered.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

Applied online and then took some online tests (logic, math, language). The first interview had two interviewers who asked behavioral questions and "tell me about a time when you..." type questions. Then came the SuperDay, which had three parts: First interview with two interviewers, similar to the first one, plus a brainteaser. Second interview with one interviewer, discussing my experiences and asking questions. Third interview with one interviewer, talking about my experiences and how they fit with ION, plus another brainteaser. Finally, a case interview where I had an hour to read a business case, prep a PPT, then present for 10 minutes with a 10-minute Q&A.
