- How to perform data cleaning on a dataset?
Data Scientist
The interview process was conducted on campus. It started with an online round which included multiple-choice questions on core concepts, SQL, and some SQL coding problems. This was followed by a technical interview where I was asked about my introduction, presented with a puzzle, questioned about my resume, tested on basic DBMS concepts, and asked about Pandas and SQL queries.
- Could you provide some pandas queries on a given table?
- Can you write a SQL query to find the second highest salary?
Data Scientist
Technical interview with two members of the Data Engineering team, and the feedback was absolutely negative. Arrogance at its finest. They criticize my master's thesis explanation, not really talking, but making faces and giggling. After I point out my feedback about their behavior, one of them makes an excuse that he has experience in that field and my results seem strange to him (as if he didn't know that results definitely depend on the dataset you had available..). I explicitly asked to be removed from the candidate database.
- Master's thesis
- Database structure
- Python quiz
