The interview started with a recruiter phone screen which went well, followed by an assessment. After that, I had a 1:1 with the Product Manager, but she seemed uninterested in my background or getting to know me. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't want to work for her. She's also new to the company (only three months), so she couldn't answer questions about growth or culture. Based on other reviews, I can see how this might be a toxic workplace.

I got an email from Mary, who is a Senior Technical Recruiter, about moving to the next step, which was a 30-minute call. I replied pretty quickly with some times I could chat, but then just got silence. The next day, I sent another email with more availability. This time, I got an automated out-of-office reply. I waited and tried one last time to follow up, but never heard back. It was really weird and unprofessional to just ghost a candidate like that. Based on what I've read about their interview process from others, it seems like I might have avoided a bad situation.

I applied online and was contacted about a better fitting role. The recruiter made it sound like a sure thing, and I had a good interview with the hiring manager. Then I met with the Clinical Panel, which was a terrible experience. I prepared a presentation, but they were hostile, constantly interrupting and ridiculing me. They misrepresented my experience. I told the recruiter, who didn't call back for a week and didn't inform the hiring team until after my candidacy discussion where I was criticized. I emailed the HR director, who took over a month to give a dismissive response. It was the worst interview experience ever.

The interview process was fairly easy going. The recruiter made sure to give me all the details about the role, the salary, and even some tips on how to present myself correctly. They also coached me on how to talk about my resume in a more personable way. I thought the interview with Iodine was one of the best I’ve had as a recent college grad. The management for the role were also great to interview with because I could ask questions without feeling uncomfortable.
