Software Engineer
So, there were 5 rounds in total. First, two online assessments (OA) where they checked my coding and problem-solving abilities. Then, three technical interviews. These interviews dove into data structures, algorithms, and backend development stuff. They also asked some SQL questions.
- Can you reverse a linked list?
- Can you reverse a string?
- Questions about trees?
Revenue Enablement Specialist
I applied online and had an initial phone screen with the recruiter. Conversation felt easy and laid back. The recruiter told me he would love to move me to the next round, and would be sending me availability asap. 4 weeks later and multiple email follow up from me, I never heard from them again. Not even a notification that they had moved in a different direction.
- Can you share your previous experience in enablement?
Customer Success Manager
The process started great! I had 4 interviews, beginning with the recruiter who promised transparency and aiming to fill the role within 4 weeks as it was a priority hire. My interviews were in reverse order: VP, then Director, then a Senior CSM. Each interview was better, and I felt very comfortable. I was strongly led to believe the job was mine to lose. After the last interview, everything went silent for 4 weeks! I had to chase the recruiter weekly for an update. A month later, I was told the new venture capital firm put a hiring freeze on. I suspect this was known for a while. It's very disappointing to feel strung along. I wish companies were truly transparent during hiring. I wouldn't apply here again. They clearly haven't figured out what their new owners want.
- Tell me about something in your career you are most proud of.
- If you had to pick one word to describe a successful Customer Success Manager, what would it be?
Senior BDR
Applied online. First round was with a recruiter and the second with an internal team member. The call was good and I was asked if I could show work examples of outreach on a future call. I told them I could. A few days later, they told me I was rejected for not asking enough questions. It was a duplicitous, immoral review requirement for what was only a discussion regarding my capabilities. Don't waste your time here, this team isn't worth interviewing with.
- Can you present examples of your work?
- Were you willing to show examples of your work?
