The process was smooth and the communication was great throughout. Everyone was super kind. They explained all the steps and I was impressed with their follow-up. They gave a clear description of the organization, shared benefits during our talks, and followed through on the next steps.

So I interviewed for an Educational Sales role at Invo and it was truly the worst. It started out okay with the Head of Sales being nice, but then her coworker joined and it went downhill. What was supposed to be about fit turned into them trying to get all my knowledge about the California education market. There were really long breaks between each interview, like weeks, and I never heard anything unless I chased them. Then they hit me with a take-home task: make a whole territory plan. This took a ton of unpaid time, especially since they didn't have a sales team before and gave me no help or context. During the final presentation, it felt like they cared more about the market info I had than about me as a candidate. I asked if they had any issues with me and they said I did a good job and would get feedback either way. That feedback never came. Weeks later, I had to call the recruiter to find out they passed. They said my plan wasn't good enough, even though they'd liked it before — probably because I didn't want to give them all my contacts' names. I felt totally used and like they didn't see me as a person. I even sent a thank you and asked for feedback again, but nope. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get the job. The way they handled communication, professionalism, and respect was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, no matter the pay.

I submitted my cover letter and resume online. HR called me back within 48 hours. We had a 30 minute phone chat, and the HR rep was really great and knew a lot. Then I had another 30 minute phone call with the field supervisor for my local area. Finally, I had a 30 minute follow up call with the same HR rep where they made me an offer and we handled the paperwork. The whole thing took 7 days from applying to getting the offer.
