It was a pretty straightforward interview process, easy to get through. Had a few rounds of interviews with standard questions. They wanted to know my thoughts on the industry and what I knew about the company. They also asked some questions about vision to make sure it was aligned.

It was a two hour in person interview with three people. First I met with the manager, then an outside person, and then another analyst. It was split half and half between getting to know you questions and technical questions.

I had a recruiter call, then a call with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person interview. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and treated me well. I felt like the in-person interview went pretty well, I met two managers and the Director of the department even popped in at the end. I left feeling good and they said I'd hear back in about 2 days, but I never did. I really liked the company and was super excited about this job. I can accept that I wasn't the right fit and respect their decision. Just a simple rejection email would have been nice though and saved me a lot of email checking.

The interview process started with a systematic recruiter call. After speaking with the recruiter, I felt like they were trying to sell me on a role that wasn't a good fit, even though I had direct experience. The recruiter seemed to steer the conversation towards me saying no to the job requirements, which was odd. The call ended when I stated my salary expectations ($130k-$160k), and they indicated a willingness to offer only around $115k, pushing me to decline. I ended the call politely. Overall, it didn't seem like a company with a strong culture or diversity, and the recruiting approach lacked common sense.
