After they got my resume, HR emailed me for a phone interview with the hiring manager. I gave them two date/time options by email, but never got a confirmation. I followed up, still no response. Then the hiring manager left a voicemail saying the call was for the interview. I called her back immediately, totally surprised because I never got the confirmation. She apologized, saying the scheduler was new, and that this would be addressed. The interview itself seemed to go okay, but I got a rejection email a couple of weeks later from the person who messed up the scheduling. Unbelievably, I wasn't even asked for an on-site interview even though I'm highly qualified. This company is unprofessional with low expectations.

I was recommended by an employee at IVC and they reached out to me for an in person interview. I met with the entire Production team and also the founders in a combined interview. I think it went well and I can see myself growing there. I sent thank you notes to everyone I met that day and all of them responded except the hiring manager. That was a bit weird, and I felt discouraged. A few weeks later, I did hear from the manager with a great note. I thought something would happen for the position, but they weren't ready to hire. The job is still posted on their website and other job sites, which I find confusing since they aren't really looking to hire. I reached out to their hiring manager in NY about a potential role, and got no response. Very disappointed, but I am sure I'll find the right agency.

I applied online and then got a call a few weeks later to set up a phone interview. I had a 30-minute phone interview with a design studio manager who asked me to send her more samples of my work after the interview, which I did. I followed up with her a week later, and within minutes of writing my email, she responded with 'I would like you to have a follow up interview with our senior art director and director of creative services. What are some good days and times? Also can you let me know what your salary requirements would be?' I immediately responded to her with flexible times and dates and told her that as far as salary goes, I would first like to get a better feel of the requirements and expectations of the job. I never heard back from her after that. I sent 2 emails, and called her and left a message over the course of the next 2-3 weeks. I gave up after that since I was already getting a bad impression from this company. This was EXTREMELY unprofessional and I expected some kind of response even if they changed their mind about me or hired someone else.
