Operations Manager
Started with a long application asking for detailed responses. The recruiter arranged the first interview, which seemed to go well enough for them to schedule a second. I got a detailed interview guide saying there would be five interviews in total. The recruiter encouraged me to reach out with any questions. My third interview got scheduled and then cancelled just 30 minutes before, with barely any reason given. It was rescheduled for a time I hadn't put down as available, but I managed to make it work to be helpful. Then I had a fourth interview and was told I'd hear back from the recruiter soon. Now the recruiter's gone quiet and isn't replying to my follow-up email.

Operations Manager
The interview process involved an assessment and 5 interviews, which moved pretty fast, taking about a month overall for me. Mostly behavioral questions, with a couple of odd ones but nothing too tricky. Recruiters were communicative and shared the interview themes (process, people, client relationship, etc.) beforehand, allowing for tailored preparation. They also provided company resources before the recruiter screen. The assessment was a quick, timed 10-minute reasoning test with pattern-based questions; practicing the provided test is recommended. It felt like a potential filter for disengaged candidates. The recruiter screen was a general company overview, focusing on experience managing large teams and working with stakeholders. Subsequent interviews were with an Ops Manager, Director of Ops, VP of Ops, and finally, the Head of Ops. Interview feedback usually came within 24 hours, and the offer was extended within four days post-final interview. The whole process was very smooth.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to manage competing demands from internal and external stakeholders?
- Tell me about an instance where you spearheaded a technical integration.
- Who were your collaborators during this technical integration, and what steps did you take to ensure its success?
Product Operations Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward, involving talking to 4 people. The first person was someone I would be working with, followed by an engineering counterpart, then the head of tech and the engineering director. I'd say the experience was a mixed bag. I met some very knowledgeable people, but the process was tedious, long, and unclear at the end. It took about 4 to 5 weeks total. Scheduling the initial call took about 2 weeks, and then about a week to schedule each subsequent interviewer. The final round interview was cut short with only one question, which left me wondering if they asked everything they needed to. Ultimately, they moved forward with candidates who had more technical experience. With that said, the interview process and candidate empathy could be improved, as they often left me in the dark between interviews. Despite these growing pains, I still think this is a great organization to be a part of.
