The interview process was very smooth, with just two rounds. Both interviewers were great to talk to, and I learned a lot about the company and team culture. The only thing that could be improved was communication with Remote, who handled Czech employees at the time. Internal HR was very helpful though.

I've interviewed with Invicti twice, and honestly, neither experience was great. The first time, they canceled on me less than an hour before the interview, saying they'd changed the role's focus. While that's understandable, it felt unprofessional after I'd already prepped. The second time, they reached out again, and I was hesitant but decided to give it another shot. It felt like an improvement. I was upfront about my salary expectations, and we moved to the second round, which felt positive. Then they contacted me again to reconfirm my salary expectations and said they wanted to proceed to the next round. We had some back-and-forth about salary, and I was waiting to hear back. But then they changed their minds, saying they'd already hired someone. It's disheartening to go through two interviews, get positive feedback, be told you're moving forward, only to be overlooked, possibly because of salary disagreements. Both experiences left me with mixed messages and feeling negative.

So, the first interview was good, and the second one too. I really felt like the second interview went well. They said they'd let me know about the third and final step. I sent a couple of follow-up emails and a LinkedIn message because I wasn't hearing anything, and then I got ghosted. Finally, the recruiter let me know that someone else had accepted their offer, so they couldn't offer me anything. It felt really unfair and like a waste of my time because they could have just told me they were already far along in the process. They basically wanted a backup plan in case their first choice turned them down. Such a waste of time and a huge disappointment.
