First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Investcorp.
Investment Analyst
The interview process involved an online written test that covered Financial Analysis and a Paper LBO. This was followed by one interview which included both technical and fit questions. Vice President Investor Relations
Had a comprehensive eight-stage interview process. It involved various teams both in India and in Bahrain (connected via video conference), as Investcorp's headquarters are in Bahrain. This role was for the India office, focusing on Investor Relations for both the private equity and real estate businesses. The discussions ranged from functional aspects to investment-related topics. Mostly discussion-based interviews.
- Can you describe the broad scope of your previous work?
- Tell me about your capability to handle a large role.
- How do you approach inter-working within teams?
Infrastructure Engineer
A recruiter got in touch about the role and sent my profile to Investcorp. They then scheduled me for an onsite interview. I had a meeting with the CTO that lasted about an hour. We talked about my past work experience, and they also asked me some technical questions. I think I did okay, but it was hard to tell what the CTO thought of my performance. I didn't hear back from the CTO or the hiring firm after the interview, even though I tried reaching out multiple times.
- What's motivating your job search away from your current position?
Head of Accounting and Valuation
I received an initial call from a Charterhouse Dubai consultant regarding a position in Hedge Funds at Investcorp Bahrain. After a thorough discussion with the consultant, I had a telephonic interview with the immediate supervisor and the head of the department, who were both very pleasant. The second interview was at Investcorp in Bahrain. They were very accommodating, assisting with my travel arrangements, including visa, flights, and airport transfers. The interview involved meeting with 3 functional heads, the head of the department, and finally HR. A month later, HR contacted me with an offer for the role. The overall hiring and interview experience was excellent.
