I had a really bad experience recently, going through 5 rounds of interviews only to be rejected. It felt like a waste of time. The process included 1 HR call and 3 technical interviews with a director, plus 2 technical programming tests focusing on a difficult threading program prototype. I had to take paid time off from my current job for 4 of these sessions on the same day. Honestly, they should have made a decision after the first technical round. It was a very, very bad experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

There were 5 interviews, a very thorough process with multiple and different interviews with executives. The interviews were conducted by phone and one face-to-face, which was decisive. Although it took a while to coordinate all agendas, it was definitely good for both parties to gather as much information as possible and make the right choice.

After applying online, a recruiter reached out. She was very nice and told me more about the company and job. The in-person interview was really bad though. The hiring manager seemed to think no one on the team was good enough and didn't say many good things about them. The second interviewer was also rude, responding to answers with things like 'Good for you.' The company should really train their managers on interviewing.

Applied online and got an interview quickly. The next step was meeting the department team. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. I brought my resume and had some knowledge of the company and industry, and prepped some questions but it wasn't a big deal.
