I went through 4 rounds of interviews and also completed a take-home assignment. I was initially told my expected salary might be too high during the first chat with HR, but after moving forward, I got an offer that was way lower than I expected. I tried to negotiate, but they said it was over budget. Then they asked for another interview, and after that, the offer was rescinded without a clear reason, only to be told later it was due to my salary expectation being too high. It felt like a waste of time due to poor communication.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • During the initial conversation with HR, I mentioned my expected salary, and she said it might be too high and would check with the hiring team. After that, I was invited to the next rounds, which led me to believe that the company was comfortable with my salary range. However, when I received the offer after 4 rounds of interviews (including a take-home assignment), it was nearly 20% lower than the number I initially provided. What confused me the most was the lack of communication from HR or the hiring team regarding the significant difference.
  • Feeling invested in the process, I reached out to HR politely to negotiate the package, only to be informed that the hiring manager's number was already above their budget.
  • While I was debating whether to accept the offer or not, the team requested an additional interview. Following this interview, HR informed me that the offer was rescinded without any explanation. After my inquiry, she told me the offer was considered too high for the role, so the management team decided to take the offer back.

The application process was a pain since they wanted applicants to submit a snapchat video. It took them FOREVER to replied back to me. Whoever is in charge of recruitment/HR isn't excelling at their job. They put me through 2 interviews, which were a joke and a waste of time to be honest. First interview was through Google Hangouts, 2nd was onsite. I'm 100% sure they forgot about my 2nd interview and the person who interviewed me didn't even know I was coming; they seemed surprised when I came. Honestly, don't apply to this place. It took them 2-3 months just to get back to me and to reject me; and this was during the summer. A bit annoying since I had to plan my summer around this stupid company's delayed responses.

i applied for junior position and within a week got a email requesting a phone interview. I had a phone interview with their HR dept, and then later she emailed back requesting an in person interview. The following week i went to their office and had an interview. Was interviewed by 2 of their account executives, done separately. They asked a few simple questions, like why i was interested in public relations and about my work experience, they were very interested in my background since i grew up overseas. I did not get the job offer unfortunately because there were 6 other candidates for the 1 open position.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was terrible. First, there was a phone call with a recruiter. Then, I had to complete an assignment within two days. The next step involved presenting that assignment via a PowerPoint presentation. This was followed by an hour-long session with lots of questions about my work experience and behavioral questions. One interviewer was late and left early, showing no respect. After that, I didn't hear back until I followed up via email. They rejected me without giving any reason. I suspect the company just wanted free work and didn't respect the interviewees.

Intertrend Interview Questions

Quoted word for word from Intertrend interview reports.

This left me feeling shocked and disrespected as a candidate, as I had stated my expected salary from the beginning, if my number (even 20% lower) was not feasible, why proceed with the interviews at all?
