First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at InterSystems.
Project Support Officer
I had to send in my CV and cover letter, and then do two tests: one for logical reasoning and one for personality. After that, they told me about the interview process. The wait of 35 days from the briefing to the interview invite was really long. I was told I'd get feedback, but the rejection email I got was a template and even had someone else's name in it.
- What made you decide to apply to our company?
Project Manager
So, I did the usual stuff like comprehension and logic tests. They mentioned about 5 or 6 interviews, which made me wonder if it was a test for stress. I didn't make it to the next stage because apparently, they were only moving people who scored 17 or higher on the coding/logic exam, and I got a 16. I felt this was a really detached way of recruiting, with a massive focus on technical skills over soft skills.
- Can you tell me about your current employer?
- Could you describe the types of projects you've managed?
Project Manager
I connected with the recruiters at my university's career fair. Then, I completed a career assessment. After that, I had a formal meeting with the recruiter, followed by interviews with various leaders in the company. I gave one reference and also got to visit the office.
- Tell me about a situation where you had to manage competing stakeholder priorities. What steps did you take to resolve it?
