I had 3 online assessments initially: PET (an SAT-like test), PI (a personality test), and TET (a test where you learn a new programming language). Once I passed those, hiring managers could see my resume and express interest. Then, I had two interviews on the same day: one with a recruiter and one with the program managers from the team that was interested in me. After the interviews, I got my offer about a month later. I applied on 9/25 and received the offer on 2/19.

First, you'll tackle three online assessments. Honestly, only the HackerRank one really mattered; the others felt like a waste of time. Don't let that scare you though, the programming assessment was guided and tested your logical thinking and comprehension. It consisted of multiple-choice questions about a programming language utilizing a stack. They provide explanations of stacks and how everything functions, so you won't need much prior knowledge. Following the OA, I had what felt like an HR interview. It was pretty dull, and the interviewer seemed disengaged. There weren't many questions, and they all, or at least most, were about why you're interested in working at InterSystems. No technical skills or past experience were discussed. You'll also get a chance to ask your own questions about the company.

The interview process involved a technical (coding) test, a professional (logical/problem-solving) test, and a behavioural/personality test. A very high score on the technical test was necessary to proceed. This was followed by three interviews that delved into my education, experience, company research, general interests, and teamwork abilities. They seemed very keen on finding people they'd enjoy working with and showed real interest in me as an individual. Typically, a recruiter would reach out within an hour or two after each stage to inform me about moving forward. Overall, it was a pleasant and efficient process.
