First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Interstate Moving | Relocation | Logistics.
HR Coordinator
The recruiter found me on LinkedIn. At first, I knew the role was not a fit as it was entry-level and my salary requirements were high. The recruiter shared the position's salary, which I declined. Later, they reached out again, saying they struggled to fill the role and were willing to interview me despite my salary expectations. The recruiter mentioned a mandatory one-way virtual interview before proceeding to speak with the hiring manager. I decided not to complete it, as I wasn't interested in a job that wasn't a good fit. The next day, the recruiter contacted me, stating the hiring manager would interview me without the one-way interview. I scheduled it for the next day. During the interview, the hiring manager immediately brought up my salary being on the high side, which was already known. I didn't expect a callback because I wasn't interested in an onsite role with low pay. On Monday, I received an email saying they decided not to move forward with my application, which I found amusing given their desperation.
