Procurement Manager
The interview process at Intersect Power was a breeze and really organized. It kicked off with a chat with HR to go over the company's mission, what the job entails, and how my background fit. We also dug a bit deeper into my procurement background, tech skills, and how I solve problems. After that, I had some chats with the team, focusing on teamwork, making things better, and how procurement supports the company's green and project aims. Everyone I talked to gave me a good feel for the company culture and what they're looking for. The last part was a talk with a senior VP about the company's future plans and how this job plays a part. The whole thing felt solid and respectful, and they kept me in the loop. It made me even more keen to join and help with their important work.
- Can you describe how you handle managing supplier relationships when things get tough or intense?
Project Manager
I had a great interview experience at Intersect Power! The interviewers were super friendly and professional, making me feel really comfortable. It was more like a chat than a formal interview, which helped me open up and ask questions. They were quick to respond and made sure I understood the role and company. The vibe was chill, and I liked that they tried to connect personally. Overall, it was a good and easy process that gave me a positive vibe about the company culture!

- What do you consider your greatest strengths?
- What are some of the challenges you've faced?
Paralegal
The interview process was pretty quick and painless. It started with a recruiter call, then a video chat with the hiring manager and a team member, and wrapped up with a video call with the VP and an attorney. The main issue was the mismatch between the job description/title and the actual job – it's more of a contracts manager role (95% contracts) than a corporate paralegal. Also, the job was posted as remote, but the recruiter mentioned they're now prioritizing local candidates to be in the office a few times a month. When this was brought up in an interview, they brushed it off as remote, which just shows how poorly they communicate internally.
- What can you tell me about yourself that isn't on your resume?
Manager
I went through 5 interviews over 3 weeks. One was with HR, one with the hiring manager, and three with VPs. They were all online. I thought this was a good sign, and I was expecting an offer after all that. But then they told me I had to do FIVE more interviews the next week. I cleared my schedule for the day to do them, but literally 5 minutes before the first one was supposed to start, they canceled the whole process because they had already hired someone. It was super misleading and really unprofessional.
