Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Interpublic Group.
Intern
The interview process involved two rounds. It was fairly easy, mostly behavioral questions with a few technical ones. This is standard for accounting interviews, so be ready to talk extensively about your resume, as they really like to focus on your experiences. I was interviewed by two VPs and an associate.
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenge.
- What challenges have you encountered?
- Describe a past challenge you experienced.
Intern
I just applied online and the HR person emailed me about a week later to set up a phone interview. It was a pretty standard interview, nothing too hard, just the usual stuff for an advertising role.
- Which brand do you like the least?
Intern
We began with a phone screening interview. After that, I had an in-person interview which was basically a chat to see if my personality fit. I was offered the position about two weeks later.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with difficult coworkers.
