First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Interplay Learning.
Curriculum Coordinator
The interview process had 3 interviews: one with a recruiter, then the hiring manager, and finally two people from the operations team. Everything went really well and was on a good timeline. The recruiter was super clear and communicated great.
- Why are you interested in Interplay, and what led you to discover the company?
- What qualifications do you possess that make you a suitable candidate for this position?
Sales Enablement Manager
I had to do a quick recorded interview with two questions. I was given 1 minute for the first question and 30 seconds for the second. The questions were very dense, and I needed more time to answer them properly. It wasn't very comprehensive. It felt like a way to screen candidates based on things like age, gender, or race, rather than actually seeing how they'd do on the job. How can you really assess someone with just two quick questions?
- How would you coach an SDR who is struggling to close their calls?
Marketing
It started with the recruiter, then I talked to the hiring manager for about 30 minutes. After that, there were two panel interviews, each with two team members. Getting the offer took a little while, but the whole thing went pretty smoothly. The recruiter was helpful, and everyone seemed like nice people.
- Can you tell me about a successful campaign you were involved in?
Customer Success Account Manager
The interview process involved one pre-recorded video submission (around 15-30 minutes including prep), a 1-hour conversation with the recruiter, a written assignment that could take 1-3 hours, a 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager, a 1-hour peer panel interview, and finally, a 30-minute meeting with the VP of CS. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and approachable. It felt like there were a good number of steps involved, though I was initially interviewed for a different position and then considered for this one, so the process might differ for others.
- What is your strategy for managing and prioritizing your client portfolio?
