Project Manager
interviewed by recruiter, then hiring manager, and finally a panel. The whole thing was set up in under two weeks from initial contact. It took a lot of nudging and waiting until right before Christmas Eve to get a rejection with a generic message. Recruiter was unresponsive, didn't clarify salary ranges, and when I asked about a more senior role, I had to push for it and still got no real discussion. It was pretty disheartening and made me question the company culture, even though they said it was good.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Project Manager
Had an initial chat with the recruiter, then gave a presentation, and wrapped up with two chats with the direct managers. It was cool chatting with the team, but honestly, the recruiter was kinda the weakest link. Didn't get the best first vibe from them, camera was off during our first meeting.

Program Assistant
I put a lot of effort into my application, writing a detailed cover letter and getting a referral. The first step was a phone screening interview for the position, and it went incredibly well! I really hit it off with the recruiter, who said he “thoroughly enjoyed our conversation” and promised to follow up that Friday after discussing next steps with the hiring manager. I sent a thank you email afterward, but he didn't get back to me for over two weeks, even though he said he would. After I sent another follow-up, I got a generic rejection email from their portal a few hours later. The recruiter himself didn't even send it. It was really rude to leave me hanging like that, and it doesn't make sense because the interview went so well and he was very encouraging about me moving forward. I'm just confused because he totally ghosted me and didn't even have the courtesy to mention they moved on with another candidate or anything. Recruiters are the worst. Maybe instead of ghosting, take one minute to email a candidate, who is a real person you had a conversation with and connected with, instead of breaking your word and ignoring their follow-ups. It’s extremely disrespectful.
- Can you tell me about your background and your interest in the IRC?
