First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at International Peace Institute.
Intern
The interview process was very well done. They were communicative and it felt easy to talk to them. They asked the usual questions, but also about experience relating to the topic and how you work from home.
- Could you share three words others might use to describe you?
Program Intern
It was a good process - first there was a skills test, then a phone interview, and finally an in-person interview. However, I never received any feedback after the interviews, which wasn't great.
- How do you handle prioritizing tasks when facing multiple deadlines?
Intern
After I applied online, I got invited for an in-person interview. I interviewed with two people and they asked me behavioral questions, questions about my subject-matter expertise and skills. They also asked me about my resume and walked me through my experience. I got an offer the following week.
- Can you describe a peacebuilding case study?
