My interview process kicked off with a virtual chat with HR, then I spoke with the hiring manager. After that, I had a few calls with folks who would be my future colleagues, plus a technical specialist.

So, there were two interviews, a screening one and then a more technical one. I thought the interview was okay, but the questions were kinda vague, like 'anything else you've done?' without them really specifying what they were looking for. It might have been because fewer technical people were hiring for a technical role. After the second interview, the hiring manager said I'd hear back in about a week. It's been two months and I still haven't heard anything, so I'm guessing they went with someone else. Honestly, a rejection email would be better than being ghosted, in my opinion.

Applied on their website in November and got feedback in mid-January after asking. The application process is very manual, requiring CV data retyping and a motivation letter. A month later, I had a lengthy screening call. A week after that, a Teams call was organized with the team manager, team director, HR, and the director of the entire office, lasting one hour. This interview included many questions from the screening call about motivation and skills, plus many behavioral questions. A week later, I was asked to do an Excel test, which was basic and lasted 45 minutes. After the test, I had another in-person talk with the manager. I was the only candidate kept for this final talk because I wasn't from Split, and they wanted to meet me in person. After three weeks of no feedback, I inquired and was told they decided to hire someone else. My overall impression is that if you're not from Split, it's not worth applying.

The interview started with a basic phone screening and then moved to an on-site interview with some department team members a couple of weeks later. The questions were straightforward and the interview was quite relaxed. However, I felt the interviewers were disengaged from the start, suggesting they might have already chosen a candidate, which made me feel like I wasted about 2 hours.
