Pricing Coordinator
The interview process started with an HR interview where they asked standard questions about my professional background. Then, I had to complete a Business Case, which involved solving a typical problem for the area using Excel. This was followed by an interview with Management, again with standard questions about my professional background. Next, there was an interview with the leaders of the areas I would be interacting with. Finally, I received a proposal letter.

I went through a hiring process that was really nice and comfortable. The team made me feel at ease, which made a big difference. The questions weren't hard, and I felt confident answering them. I also felt like I got a lot of attention from the interviewers, who seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. I also got to ask my questions, which made me feel even better about the company and the role. This experience made me feel valued and excited about potential future opportunities.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What is your greatest weakness?
- What caught your interest about this opening?

So after a quick initial screening, they asked if I'd heard of the company, and then I got asked for a formal interview. They didn't talk about salary at all. The first round was with a manager, a regular phone interview. It started with 'have you heard of us?' and then we went over my work history. A bit of a red flag was that the manager was on vacation during the call. I found out he'd only been there for 6 months and liked to 'work hard/play hard'. I also learned that 'hybrid' meant being in the office 3-4 days a week. He dodged the salary question. The last round was a video call with the CFO and CMO. They asked 'have you heard of them?' yet again. I answered questions about my skills, experience, and personal preferences. The CMO started eating a sandwich during the call. Turns out they've also only been there 6 months. They said the classic 'we're like a family' line. There was a lot of tension around salary. I mentioned that if I was expected to drive to the office 4-5 days a week for a 'hybrid' role, my salary expectations would need to be higher, like, market rate. Their reaction made me think they wanted to pay entry-level wages for someone with senior-level skills and experience.
