It felt like they were really focused on textbook definitions for Software Development concepts. I know how to use them, but the exact wording from a book doesn't feel that important in the real world if you get the gist and can apply it.

I applied through a third party recruiter site and was contacted within a week for an initial screening call. Then, I was passed to the International Market Center's HR Manager, who would have been my coworker. The HR Manager mentioned "work hard play hard" many times and stated that their team works 7 days a week. At that point, I decided this wasn't the company for me and asked the recruiting company to withdraw my application.

Behavioral Technical

Interviewed for a technical role in Juniper. It was a typical interview process: first a screener with a recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a panel interview with the team members, followed by an interview with the SVP. Everyone I spoke with was really happy working there and treated me with respect. The interviews felt more like conversations to get to know me as a candidate rather than an interrogation. They asked questions to gauge my knowledge, but it wasn't like a test. The recruiting team was super efficient and reached out almost immediately after each stage to inform me about the next steps.

Technical Coding

So, first I had a 1h chat with one of the managers. Then, a few days after, they sent me a coding exercise to do and upload to GitHub or BitBucket. It was pretty quick, only took a few hours. Finally, I had an interview with two managers where we discussed the coding exercise and they asked me some technical questions.
