First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at International Justice Mission.
Marketing Consultant
It was a smooth process. Started with a quick screening, then I met with people I'd be working with. The interviews weren't too long and everyone was really positive. Overall, it was a great experience. Just be ready for typical interview questions and talk about your work process.

Intern
I submitted my statement of faith, cover letter, and CV. Then I had an interview screening with a recruiter. After that, I was invited for the actual interview with 2 interviewers, the department head and line manager.
- What sparked your interest in IJM?
- Can you share your experience with specific tasks?
- Tell me about your experience with specific tasks.
Advocacy Lead
There were three interviews and a written test. I interviewed with HR, a peer, and the Program director. Before they sent an offer, they asked for references from past and current employers.
- Could you explain your motivation for applying to this position?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- How would you describe the current landscape in this field?
Associate
Applied for the role and got an email 5 minutes later saying someone was already selected, even though the position was only posted online two days prior. This makes me think they either have an incredibly fast hiring process or post fake positions filled by internal candidates. For a company named 'Justice', this doesn't seem very professional. I'd suggest maybe renaming it to the 'International Injustice Mission'. Also, when you politely ask HR for feedback, they never reply. I guess they don't care.
