I had a brief 10-minute screening call with the VP of Programs. Towards the end of that call, they invited me for an in-person interview. They asked me about my past jobs and my experience, as well as what I know about current events.

Interviewed via Skype and was told I'd hear back within a week. Got an email citing concerns about my attention to detail due to a typo in my writing sample, and was given the 'opportunity' to fix it. Received more emails requesting references and an additional writing sample (submitted three total, plus a data visualization). After two weeks, I reached out and learned my contact had been meaning to get back to me for days, and I wasn't selected. References were never contacted. It was a bizarre and unprofessional experience.

Got contacted soon after applying for a preliminary interview with a recruitment consultant. I'm a seasoned interviewee but the interviewer was completely disengaged, just mumbling "mmm hmm" now and then. No active listening shown. Promised that they would reach out about next steps in the process the following week or next. After two weeks of silence I reached out for updates, but never received a reply. The whole thing was unprofessional and disrespectful.

I had two rounds of interviews. The first was with two program managers, and the second was with VPs from different departments. Both rounds focused on standard behavioral questions, nothing too complex. The interviewers were all pleasant. The key thing is to research the organization beforehand.
