Expect three interviews: the first one will be a technical skills assessment with the Engineering Team Lead. Then, you'll have a second interview with HR and the Team Lead to assess cultural fit. Finally, there's a third interview with Engineering Management to gauge your strategic thinking. Make sure to communicate clearly, prepare for technical questions, and understand our company's processes and values. Good luck!

The interview process was quite short. I started with a recruiter call, which was more of a formality as no real screening happened. Then, I was invited for an in-person meeting with the hiring manager and director. This meeting went on for about two hours. They mentioned a decision wouldn't be immediate, expecting feedback in about a week. It felt pretty relaxed, more like a conversation than a formal interview. We went over my resume, and I answered questions about my experience and knowledge of the benefits industry. The interview concluded with questions about my references and salary expectations. A couple of days later, I got a rejection email from the recruiter without any specific reason. When I asked for clarification, the recruiter just said the interview went well but my salary expectations were too high. It felt like a waste of time, especially since salary wasn't discussed earlier. My references were contacted by the recruiter. I also learned from a headhunter that my salary expectations were actually within the range the employer had set. It's confusing, and honestly, the lack of clear communication makes me want to avoid this company in the future.

The interview was about 2 hours long and involved 4 interviewers who walked the production floor with me. They asked me questions about my work history and my thoughts on a specific area of the production floor. The interviewers included 2 Superintendents, the Production Manager, and a Production Supervisor. It was a very hot day, and I wore a suit and tie.

I had an on-site interview with four people, followed by a phone interview with corporate. There seemed to be some tension between corporate and on-site management. I wasn't sure at the time if corporate was looking to fill a Controller role or if they planned to shut down the plant and relocate everyone.
