I applied on Linkedin and they quickly responded asking if I was available for a Microsoft Teams interview. The interview was with the Head of HR and unfortunately, they were dismissive and rude, which made me reconsider working there.

I interviewed for an accounting position and had a pretty bad time. The second person interviewing me seemed like they hadn't prepared and didn't know much about the job. They said some weird stuff, like my job could be replaced by AI. I got cut off a couple times when I was talking, which made it feel less like a conversation and more like an interrogation. It was super stressful and made it hard to think of good answers. Interviews should be a two-way street, and this wasn't a respectful or interesting process. I left feeling bummed out, not knowing more about the job or the company.

I had an initial phone chat with HR, and then they invited me in for an in-person meeting. During that meeting, I spoke with both HR and the accounting manager. The conversation lasted about an hour, and I got word back within a week.
