First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Interior Logic Group.
Branch Manager
The interview process was very professional, making me feel like the company valued my time. Sharon Lacson, a Senior Recruiter, kept in touch throughout and even followed up after the interview to check on how everything went. She was great and made the process easy. Nothing but good things to say about my first impression.
- Tell me about your experience and what you believe you can contribute to the company.
Sales Associate
I had a video call with a recruiter from the company first. He was really nice and told me about the job. When he asked what salary I was looking for, he didn't say if that was possible here. Then, I got an email from someone else at Interior Logic on Labor Day itself to schedule my next interview. It seemed pretty weird to get a work email on Labor Day to set up an interview, especially since I still didn't know about the pay, so I decided not to continue with the interviews.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
Account Manager
I had an initial call with a Senior Account Manager to discuss the role and my background. Then, I had a formal interview the following week, followed by a 30-minute video call with the Director. A week later, they contacted me expressing their intent to offer me a position and mentioned they'd expedite the HR process. I followed up a few more times. The director then called, indicating they could offer significantly less than initially discussed. I restated my salary expectations, and they said they'd see what they could do but cautioned me not to rely on it. After another follow-up a few days later, they informed me they had chosen another candidate. The whole process felt quite scattered and informal, with frequent follow-ups needed on my end. The people were nice, but there were some concerning signs about the company.
- Can you tell me about your experience using technical platforms?
Interviewee
This interview process has been really disappointing. I thought we had a good connection initially and that you were working hard for me with clear and fast communication. But after putting in a lot of time, there were delays, no replies, and no updates. It's been three weeks since I was told to reach out, and still nothing. The whole thing has wasted almost two months of my time. I expected better professionalism and respect for my time. I hope this helps you remember that job seekers need honest and timely updates from recruiters. Because I believed your assurances that things were moving forward, I turned down three other job offers that I can't get back now. If I'd known communication would be so bad, I would have made different career choices.
