First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Interface Talent Network.
Marketing Director
First, there was an initial interview. After that, I was brought in for about a week of unpaid training, usually in a group. Some people decide it's not the right fit and leave after this week. If you complete the training, you'll either observe actual sales meetings or be let go. After observing meetings (for which you're paid $100/day), you'll get an offer and start leading your own meetings.
- Were there any standard questions asked?
- Is an excited attitude preferred for sales?
- Are you comfortable being open, relaxed, and confident?
Scout
This is a talent network position. The job requires you to always look and dress like a model, with a strict dress code of black, white, and gray. You'll be approaching people frequently to see if they're interested in modeling, acting, or singing services for their children aged 3 months to 18 years. The agency also markets older individuals but finds more success with children because they can be clients for a longer time. They have an 80% success rate with the children they sign up.
- What qualities do you possess that make you suitable for this role?
- How do you handle rejection?
- Do you have experience or are you comfortable with approaching people to discuss potential services?
Sales Representative
I initially interviewed for an assistant role, but they asked me to come back for a sales rep position. Following that, I was asked to return for a two-week training period. During this training, I was offered a position, but I declined it because the whole thing seemed very scam-like, and I didn't want to be involved in that kind of environment.
- Can you describe how you interact with people?
Customer Service Representative
I first spoke with an HR recruiter who then set up a meeting with the VP of Customer Service. This meeting was about 20 minutes long. During the meeting, the reviewer gave me a test and we discussed my entire work history.
- What is your background and work experience?
- Do you have selling skills?
