Software Engineer
A third-party company handled the tech screening. It involved talking to an AI bot and the interview was recorded, likely for data. This made me uncomfortable, and I hope it doesn't become a common practice.
- A simple question about Python classes.
- Some basic questions related to REST.
- Some basic questions related to SQL.
Software Engineer
The interview process kicked off with a medium-level problem focused on the sliding window technique. This was followed by a round that included a basic design question, a code review, and another medium-level DSA problem. The final round was all about assessing cultural fit. After finishing all the interviews, I was first told I'd successfully cleared and an offer was coming soon. But then, they said hiring strategy and pace were changing because of financial issues. It felt like a waste of time and showed bad leadership.
- Tell me about a medium-level problem you solved using the sliding window technique.
- Can you walk me through a basic design question?
- How would you approach a code review?
Senior Software Engineer
They took more than a month to give an offer letter. There were three rounds in total. The first was a detailed discussion about project technologies and coding questions. The second was also a technical round with high-level tech managers, where they asked complicated programming and coding questions for 2 hours. The third round was with the recruitment manager for 1 hour. After all these stages, there was a wait of 2-3 weeks to release the offer letter.
- Tell me about your experience with Java.
- Can you explain your understanding of programming concepts?
- What are your thoughts on Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)?
