First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Interactive One.
Account Manager
I interviewed with 3 people, including a Director, a VP, and a SVP. Overall, these were great interviews, some of the best I've experienced. The interviewers asked direct questions but maintained a warm demeanor, unlike the cold, stoic approach many interviewers take.
- Can you share an accomplishment from your previous role that you are particularly proud of?
Coordinator
The first call I had was a recruiter call, which was pretty standard. The interviewer explained the job and the daily tasks. I liked that. But, I did notice some quiet comments about how some people are hard to work with. When I came in for my interview, they wanted me to meet with everyone. It was a lot. Most of the staff didn't seem ready to meet me. One interviewer even took a call during our chat! When I asked the interviewers about the vibe there, they all sort of smirked and looked away before saying basically the same thing: "If you just focus on your work you'll be fine" "Some people have very strong personalities but you get used to it after a while" "Have you spoken to the President of the company yet? Let me know when you do... he's very strange but he's um...er...ahhh...nice". I was surprised to hear all this during the interview.
- Did you talk to the President yet?
- Tell me when you do.
- He's kinda weird but, uh, nice.
Software Engineer
So basically there are 3 rounds of interview in this company. The first one is a Face to Face interview, then an interview with the Software Architect, and finally the Hr round. If you are technically sound and a logical thinker you can crack the interview easily.
- Were you asked logical questions?
Editor
I had some great interviews with several people, and everyone was really nice. All the interviews were remote and the questions were pretty standard. People were happy to answer my questions and were open and honest about the process. Nothing was surprising.
- Can you tell me about your career goals for the next few years and how they align with this role?
