First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inter Parfums.
Marketing Specialist
I applied through my university job board for the Italian branch. The whole process took over a month, starting in early June and ending with an answer by the end of July. The managers were great - professional and really precise. The HR team, however, was completely unprofessional. They gave me a timeline for an answer and didn't stick to it at all. I had to chase them down to get a clear response, otherwise I don't think I would have ever heard back.
- Can you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- How would you approach launching a new fragrance?
- What are your ideas for gift sets and coffrets?
Trade Marketing Manager
It was pretty straightforward. First, I had a virtual meeting with the hiring manager. Then, I went in person to meet key decision-makers and HR. I had to introduce myself and explain what I can bring to the company. We had an open discussion, and I had enough time to ask questions to see if it was a good fit.
- What motivates you to want to work for Inter Parfums?
- What knowledge do you have regarding Inge Parfums?
- What are your career aspirations for the next 5 years?
Account Executive
The hiring process was pretty straightforward, and I got an offer after four interview rounds. The main issue was with the HR department after the offer. The HR representative had a really bad attitude, being unnecessarily rude. They just assumed I'd accept the offer without letting me discuss the benefits package. When I tried to negotiate, they refused to budge and pressured me to accept immediately. I really liked the job and the team, and actually enjoyed my conversations with them. But the HR's behavior was completely unwarranted and disappointing, leaving a negative impression and making it hard to accept the role given the attitude and abuse of power.
- Could you tell us about your prior work experience?
- What makes you interested in our company?
- Do you have answers to basic questions related to the position?
Quality Coordinator
First, there was a phone call with HR to validate. Then, an in-person interview with HR. After that, an in-person interview with the N+1 manager, which was another validation point. Then, an in-person interview with N+2. Following that, an in-person interview with N+3. Finally, an in-person interview with the HR Director for final validation.
- Could you share your strengths and weaknesses?
- What makes you a good fit for this opportunity?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
