First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Intellisense Systems.
Mechanical Engineer Intern
First, I had a recruiter call to go over logistics. After that, I interviewed with the manager I would be working with. The main focus was digging deeper into my resume.
- Can you elaborate on the specific project experiences mentioned in your resume?
Purchasing Planner
I talked to the Talent rep who set up the interview, my direct manager, his manager, and the department GM, plus someone I'd work with. Everyone was really nice; it was the best interview I've had.
- Can you tell me about your background as it relates to this position?
- Could you elaborate on specific, detailed questions about my background?
- Given a particular scenario, how would you respond?
In Office
It's pretty simple, if you're not feeling a candidate after talking with them, just send them an auto-rejection email. It's not that hard. Ghosting people is so unprofessional, but that's what this company did to me. No wonder they're struggling to hire. Plus, there's no need to make employees come into the office for most jobs. If you look at the people in their office, you'll see they aren't very diverse.
- Tell me about yourself and your background.
Engineer
The interview process kicked off with a Zoom call featuring three team members. Following that, there was a follow-up in-person interview scheduled with additional team members. The discussions during these interviews were primarily focused on my past experiences and my typical working style.
- If assigned a task you were unfamiliar with, how would you proceed?
