the first interview i had was just a phone call and i talked thought my resum, she said the positon i was right for wasn't available but she would keep the resume, which is good

I first got contacted by an Intelligenesis recruiter back in February 2022 because I applied for a Discovery Analyst role. My technical interview was about a month later in March 2022. It went well, and I got a conditional offer, and my resume was considered for a Franklin Towers contract. Then, I had a mission fit interview for a specific shop on March 31st, 2022. About a week after that, I heard they went with someone else. Almost a month later, in the first week of May 2022, the recruiter called again about another mission fit interview with a different shop on May 5th, 2022. I asked to reschedule, and I did the interview on May 19th, 2022. On June 13th, 2022, the shop let me know they picked me. Since then, I've had to provide my start date, moving details, and I got the official offer letter on July 28th, 2022. The whole process took 5 months, which is typical for government jobs.

I had a straightforward video interview with the program manager after talking to the recruiter. I think I lacked some experience that was critical for the role, and maybe that could have been addressed earlier. They were quite open about the whole process and seem to be a great small contracting company.

The hiring staff was really nice. The first interview was pretty chill, just talking about what you've done before and what kind of job you're looking for. The person interviewing me was happy to answer my questions, and it felt like the company actually cares about the people who work there.
