I interviewed with the HR Manager and two other leads. It went really well, and I felt like I answered everything perfectly because they were super nice and made it easy.

After the recruiter reaches out, there are 3 rounds of interviews. First is with the hiring manager, then peers, and finally the Head of Product. The hiring manager focuses on behavioral questions, while the peer interview covers day-to-day activities. The Head of Product interview is more casual.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a full day fair with 3 interview segments. First, I met with the UK leaders, then the dev team, and finally the CIO. The process was conversational, covering many broad topics. I had an awful experience because the CIO was really positive, committed to travelling for the role and getting a hotel, but then I was ghosted by everyone at the organization.

I had a phone interview with the HR recruiter after chasing them a few times. It went pretty well, and they said they could pay at the top of the range I suggested, which I thought was market rate. The recruiter called back super excited, saying the Hiring Mgr wanted my list of C-Level contacts in Health Systems in their territory. I figured the hiring manager must be interested, why else would they ask for that specifically? I spent hours putting together this list, which is usually confidential. I emailed it to the recruiter late at night, expecting to talk to the hiring manager soon. After about a week, I followed up. Then they told me the hiring manager who got my list wasn't interested. It really feels like they just wanted free consulting, using candidates to build a free list for their key account targeting. I think that's okay to ask for maybe if you're one of the top 3 finalists and it could help you win, but asking for it before that seems unethical and misleading.
