The interview process started with a phone screen, after which I was invited for an in-person interview. The whole process felt really disorganized. One of the interviewers had a scheduling conflict, so I ended up waiting in his office by myself for half an hour. I was patient and polite about it, but it was a complete waste of my time since they had scheduled the interviews based on when they were free. I never even got a callback after I took a day off for these interviews. Looking back, I probably should have just left.

It's a grueling process where you'll interview with pretty much your whole team back-to-back. You also have to give a presentation on the company's sales pitch, using their slides and adding a few of your own about yourself. The weirdest part is they only give you 48 hours to get ready, so if you're working and have a family, good luck with that. They don't give you much info either, just a slide deck, so you'll have to dig around their website to figure out what the company does.

I was contacted by a recruiter for this role. First, I had a phone screen with a peer and the IT manager. It was a quick, standard call asking about my career path and resume details. Then, I went in for an in-person interview. I met with the same people from the phone screen first. They asked behavioral questions about how I managed past work situations. I felt good about that part and did well. Next, I interviewed with the Chief Information Security Officer. This guy was really rude and cold, a totally different vibe. It felt like an interrogation because of his attitude. I'm glad I didn't get the job, even though I liked my potential coworkers and managers. I wouldn't want to report to someone like that. I was told I'd hear back about a second interview by the end of the week, but the recruiter let me know by day 2 that I was rejected. I couldn't even get feedback on why I was turned down so quickly after interviewing well with the others. Oh well, at least I won't work there.

The interview process felt efficient and communication was timely. I spoke with multiple interviewers, with about 4-5 interviews happening sequentially where new people would come in as others left. The questions were generally simple, but the repetitive "Tell me about yourself" question by each new interviewer got a bit tiresome. It seemed like they were focused on assessing culture fit, as the role itself appeared to be relatively straightforward.
